If an LP has more than six tracks per side the sound has to be recorded at a reduced amplitude in order to get the tracks on your vinyl record discs. Having an LP consisting of say about 10 tracks on each side therefore reduces the desired acquired signal amplitude relative to unwanted noise this is heard as an increase in hum and distortion that is referred to as the signal to noise ratio.
Get Better Reproductive Sound
It is better to buy LPs with four, five or six tracks for better-produced sound quality through your Hi-Fi separates system. It should be obvious that the best signal to noise ratio and therefore sound quality will be found on a twelve inch single. In my years of experience in buying and collecting vinyl records. You will also notice the difference between your 45rpm 12 inch vinyl record disc compared to the 45rpm 7inch vinyl disc. The grooves of the 12inch 45s are wider and therefore produce a better reproductive sound on your Hi-FI or separate sound system than that of the narrower grooves of the 7inch 45s. That's a fact.
