Carefully drip small amounts of bleach on to the record following the grooves of the record but keeping away from the record label. Clean the record by wiping it in a circular motion with a moist tea towel parallel with the grooves of the record whilst placing your other hand on the mat placed in the centre of the record to protect the label and applying just enough pressure to keep the record from moving about.
Wash the bleach off in running water, this exercise will get the bleach out of the record grooves completely. If anyone have doubts and fell that this procedure of cleaning vinyl records with bleach will damage the surface of the vinyl records. |
