Vinyl record collectors must be prepared to treat their records like the crown jewels !!! Remember; treat them as if they’re your most precious possessions and I also mean taking care of your record covers and inner sleeves!

The first thing to remember is that an analogue vinyl record is far more fragile than a CD where a shield of clear hard substance protects the information imprinted on the CD, hence, the grooves of a vinyl record are exposed and vulnerable - at the mercy of environmental effects such as fingerprints, dust grit, spilled coffee, and worn styluses. Worn styluses are the worst of the lot. You can wipe away the grime, spilled coffee, but you cannot wipe away the damage a worn stylus can cause.
